It is reported that several violations of customs legislation were prevented in the customs control area of the Islam Karimov airport the day before.

In particular, during the inspection of the hand luggage of two passengers arriving on a flight from Istanbul, 55 units of cosmetic preparations were found, the origin and quality of which are not confirmed by relevant documents. The preliminary value of the seized funds exceeds 361 million soums.

In another case, during the baggage inspection of a foreign citizen who arrived on the Xi'an - Tashkent flight, 720 units of special medical needles were found that were not specified in the passenger customs declaration and exceeded the established import standards.

At the moment, these goods have been seized as material evidence, and verification measures are being carried out on violations.
