The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov, Director of the mission of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Uzbekistan David Hoffman, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the El-yurt Umidi Foundation and the Academy of Public Administration.

Representatives of the United States made a presentation on current projects in the scientific and educational field and short-term plans to deepen cooperation in this area.

A thorough exchange of views took place on organizational and technical aspects related to the implementation of projects in reforming the education system, strengthening human capital, supporting English language teaching and expanding partnerships between universities.

They expressed mutual readiness to continue close cooperation in the implementation of the above-mentioned projects, as well as other educational and exchange programs, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
