In Pakistan, dozens of people were killed in an attack by militants at a coal mine

    At least 20 miners have been killed and seven others injured in an armed attack by unknown assailants at a coal mine in Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan.

    As the Report reports with reference to the Associated Press, this was announced by a police representative.

    According to information, armed men broke into residential premises at a coal mine in the Dukhi area, surrounded the men and opened fire on them. Three of the dead and four of the wounded were Afghans.

    No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

    The agency recalls that the attack took place on the eve of a major security summit to be held in Islamabad.
