A criminal case has been opened in Russia against teenagers who attacked Uzbek citizens

    In the city of Vladivostok, a group of teenagers attacked migrant workers from the Bukhara region. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism").

    According to the investigation, on September 10, intoxicated minors damaged a parked car, sprayed an aerosol substance into the interior and attacked the truck driver. Then they broke into a convenience store on Khabarovsk Street, where they beat a man in the presence of the seller and customers. Later, the defendants attacked the taxi driver and his passenger.

    On the street, teenagers continued their illegal actions using stones and improvised objects.

    At present, the suspects have been identified: one has been detained, two are wanted. All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by TFR investigators. Operational support is provided by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Primorsky Kray.

    The incident is under the control of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok.
