Holding a separate conference on cinema is no coincidence: at a video conference held on October 11 this year under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the task of creating feature films, documentaries about the history and culture of Uzbekistan was set. This, in turn, requires the creation of new media projects closely related to our cultural heritage.

The conference analyzed new mechanisms for combining creative and production capabilities of film organizations of the TURKSOY countries to create films about the history and historical figures of Uzbekistan.

With the participation of the heads of film organizations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, the topics of future cooperation of film production between the countries of the Turkic world were discussed.

In addition, a memorandum was signed on the establishment of the Union of Cinematographers of the TURKSOY countries regarding the participation of the heads of film organizations of these countries in the Congress and the presentation of new film projects aimed at popularizing their heritage. According to the agreement, animation schools will be opened in Tashkent, Nukus and Bukhara in the future.
