The exhibition-fair "Week of Central Asian Culture 2022" was held in Seoul

    As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the countries of Central Asia, an exhibition and fair "Central Asia Week 2022" was held in Seoul, organized by the Secretariat of the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.

    An installation dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and the Central Asian states was created at the event site. In addition, a concert program with thematic performances by artists from each Central Asian country was organized at the event.

    The national stand of Uzbekistan organized by the Embassy, dedicated to the history, rich culture and tourism potential of our country, aroused great interest among numerous visitors.

    Handicrafts, jewelry, wood carvings, sericulture and other samples of folk art, videos about the historical, cultural and architectural heritage of Uzbekistan, as well as government measures to improve tourism infrastructure were demonstrated at the national stand.

    The guests participating in the event had the opportunity to taste national dishes, as well as to play our national musical instruments, the news agency "Doone" reports.

    Through colorful booklets and publications, comprehensive information is provided about the famous tourist routes of Uzbekistan, the ancient architectural monuments of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, with an emphasis on the newly created international tourist center "The Great Silk Road" in Samarkand.
