The experts agreed on a draft program to stimulate industrial cooperation in the SCO countries, which was proposed by Uzbekistan. The document has now been submitted for further consideration.

The meeting on the approval of the draft program, chaired by the Uzbek side, was held in an online format on January 20-21. The meeting was attended by representatives of the departments of the organization's member countries responsible for the development of industrial cooperation, the CIS Executive Committee reports.

Having agreed on the draft program, the participants agreed to submit it for consideration at the next meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the SCO member states. The meeting will be held in Tashkent on January 25-28, 2022.

In 2021-2022, Uzbekistan chairs the SCO. The program to stimulate industrial cooperation between the business circles of the SCO member states was initiated by the Uzbek side at the Moscow summit in 2020. The practical mechanism for its implementation should be the creation of industrial cooperation centers in the SCO countries.
