One of the key stages of reconstruction is coming to an end in Tashkent on Shota Rustaveli Street

    A large-scale reconstruction and renovation of Shota Rustaveli Street continues in Tashkent. The first layer of asphalt concrete pavement has been completely laid on the section from the Oybek metro station to the Mass Graves memorial.

    The applied layer undergoes natural processes of compaction and shrinkage, ensuring the strength and durability of the future roadway. After their completion, the laying of the second layer of asphalt will begin.

    According to the capital's khokimiyat, traffic on the first layer will be open until September 10. The full opening of the road will be announced additionally through official sources.

    In parallel, the installation of traffic light complexes with an intelligent control system is being completed. Utilities also carry out related work to avoid the need to open the road surface in the future. Contractors will continue work on this site.

    Reconstruction is also actively underway in the next segment - from the memorial "Mass Graves" in the direction of the bridge "Uzgarish". Drainage systems are being installed here, drainage trays are being laid, curbstones are being changed, a bike path and a dedicated lane for public transport are being built.

    Drivers and pedestrians are asked to understand the temporary inconveniences associated with the work.
