The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alesher Shukurov, Vice-rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University Abduaziz Abduvasikov, representatives of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Institute of Cotton Production, professors, teachers and specialists leading scientific research.
The joint laboratory will contribute to the development of modern scientific research in the fields of agronomy, soil science and crop production. The new laboratory plans to conduct in-depth studies of soil and plants, fertilizer systems, agrotechnical solutions, as well as environmentally sustainable technologies.
In addition, Vice-rector of the University Abduaziz Abduvasikov signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Cotton Production of China, aimed at expanding cooperation.
This agreement will provide an additional impetus for the development of agricultural education and science in Uzbekistan, as well as integrate international best practices into local research.
