The closing ceremony of the World Judo Championship was held in Tashkent

    On October 13, the closing ceremony of the competition took place in Tashkent before the final block of the World Championship. It was attended by the Secretary General of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Jean-Luc Rouget, the deputy chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan, the head of the country's Judo Federation Azizjon Kamilov, as well as the Secretary General of the Qatar Judo Federation Eid al Murayhi.

    At the beginning of the event, a video was shown dedicated to the historical and bright moments of the exciting fights that took place in Tashkent.

    After that, the IF flag was lowered, which Azizjon Kamilov symbolically handed to Mr. Rifle, and the Secretary General of the International Judo Federation handed the flag to the official representative of the hosts of the upcoming world Championship.

    The World Cup, which will be held in Doha (Qatar), is scheduled for May 7-14, 2023.
