The event was attended by senators, deputies of local councils, Committee experts and representatives of other partner organizations.
The project provides for the implementation of 100 goals and 309 points in 7 directions. During the event, important issues included in the program related to science and education, reproductive health, motherhood and childhood, strengthening the social protection system, mediation, digital mahalla (neighborhood), as well as women were discussed in detail.
At the event, a representative of Halk Bank, responsible for involving women in entrepreneurship, noted that in order to support entrepreneurship in 2023, 13 trillion soums were allocated from the State Budget, the loan amount for women was increased to 50 million soums, and the preferential loan rate remained at 14%. It is planned to issue from 10 million to 20 million soums of this amount in cash.
During the event, several proposals on the draft program were also given. In particular, such proposals were made as expanding the provision of psychological assistance in the prevention of harassment and violence against women, studying the experience of international rehabilitation centers to provide services to women victims of harassment and violence, online training of Uzbek citizens in foreign countries, including women, the information service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
