The event was an important step towards the wide promotion of Uzbekistan's products to foreign markets, strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation and developing mutually beneficial ties.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was solemnly conducted by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Sainbuuyangiin Amarsaikhan.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented a special stand, including 74 names of national fruits and vegetables, melons, food and industrial products.
Such export-oriented products as cherries, apricots, peaches, grapes, dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, prunes), pistachios, almonds, chickpeas, shurdanak, black caviar, quince, pomegranate, cherry wine, jam from figs and walnuts, spices, confectionery, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev, Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Sainbuuyangiin Amarsaikhan visited the exhibition and personally got acquainted with the products.
Within the framework of B2B meetings, export contracts worth 11 million US dollars were signed between Uzbek entrepreneurs and foreign business circles. The main area of the agreements is the supply of confectionery, dried and fresh fruits, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
Thus, the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition has become a significant platform for demonstrating the production and export potential of Uzbekistan, promoting national products on the international market and bringing economic relations between Uzbekistan and Mongolia to a new level.
