The laboratory will conduct scientific research on the molecular diagnosis of oncological diseases, and the transfer of innovative technologies from Slovakia will serve the development of national medicine of the two countries.
The event was attended by oncologists from public and private medical and preventive institutions, specialists of relevant specialties, researchers from leading institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
A solemn opening of the laboratory building took place on the territory of the largest Republican Cancer Research Center in Tajikistan and a scientific conference was held within the walls of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino.
The opening of DB Biotech Diagnostics laboratories in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will allow achieving the highest efficiency and accuracy in determining the histotype of neoplasms, differential diagnosis of oncological diseases, and will become a support for medical institutions of the republics in choosing tactics and predicting treatment results. An important step in scaling up the laboratories will be the development of antibodies on the national scientific and production base.
