    The abnormal heat that has settled on the territory of Uzbekistan has caused the introduction of a speed limit for trains, the press service of JSC "O'ztemiryo'lyo'lovchi" reports today.

    As explained in the company, due to the abnormally hot weather observed on the territory of the republic these days, the temperature of the rails of surface railways and their steel parts is greatly increasing.

    "Train speed limits are set in order to ensure the safety of passengers and trains. As a result, trains may fall behind schedule," the message says.

    In addition, the company warned that the performance of the cooling system may decrease for trains with a speed limit.

    JSC "O'ztemiryo'lyo'lovchi" apologized to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
