Starting from December 1, 2024, tariffs for rail freight transportation in Uzbekistan will increase by 30% in domestic traffic, the press service of the Uzbekistan Temir Yullari company reports.

The increase will affect the company's inventory wagons and will depend on their type, including universal, specialized wagons and tank cars.

This measure is aimed at partially covering the increased costs associated with the maintenance of the car fleet, as well as the renewal of rolling stock.

The increase in tariffs is part of the transition to market regulation of the cost of transport services.
