The law regulates relations in the field of the state defense order.

The State defense order is a state order for the purchase of military and dual-use products approved by the State Commission for Equipping the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The main objectives of the state defense order are defined:

the formation, approval and execution of the state defense order based on the national interests of the country, the military-political situation in the world and the region, the level of threats to national security in the military sphere, the nature of modern military conflicts;

timely and guaranteed armament, provision of military and dual-use products to customers;

ensuring the targeted and efficient use of financial resources allocated for the state defense order.

The draft state defense order is reviewed and approved by the decision of the State Commission.

The state defense order approved by the State Commission is taken into account when developing the draft Law on the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the next year.
