Aftershocks from the earthquake in Tajikistan were felt in Uzbekistan

    Today, on November 5, at 10:58 a.m., an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in the Sughd region of Tajikistan. Tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan, in the Syrdarya region, where the earthquake reached 2-3 magnitude.

    According to the Republican Seismic Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, the strength of the tremors in the epicenter was 5 points, and the depth of the source was 12 kilometers underground.

    The epicenter was located at a distance of 133 kilometers from Tashkent in a southwesterly direction. The distance from the epicenter to the Syrdarya region is 54 kilometers.
