According to the Decree, the Committee on Tourism under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change is being reorganized into the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change is being removed from the Cabinet system, and on its basis, while maintaining existing staff units, the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change is being created.

A division of the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Environmental Issues is being created in the organizational structure of the Presidential Administration.

The Committee on Ecology will be responsible for the implementation of the following national projects:

The national project "Чиқиндидан ҳоли ҳудуд" ("Waste-free zone"), aimed at improving the system of recycling and waste management;

the national project "Тоза ҳаво" ("Clean air"), aimed at improving the quality of atmospheric air;

The national project "Yashil Makon" ("Green Space"), which provides for the creation of botanical and arboretum gardens with a total area of at least 100 hectares in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent by 2028.;

the national project "Eco-madaniyat" ("Eco-culture"), aimed at the formation of the ecological culture of the population and the widespread promotion of an ecological lifestyle;

The Bio Meros National project (Bio-Heritage), aimed at preserving biodiversity for future generations.
