According to the changes, depending on the height of buildings, certain restrictions have been placed on the use of building materials with a high degree of flammability in their decoration.
Building materials, depending on the degree of flammability, are divided into 4 types.
On the facade of buildings up to 28 meters high, it is allowed to use materials with only a low degree of flammability (2-4).
The use of combustible materials is prohibited in buildings with a height of more than 28 meters, as well as in educational and medical organizations (regardless of their height).
The use of combustible materials is limited when decorating walls and ceilings on building escape routes (stairs, corridors, halls, passageways), as well as in basements and basement floors.
These requirements are aimed at reducing the risk of fire and rapid spread, as well as ensuring the safe evacuation of citizens in emergency situations.
