Uzbekistan has approved the procedure for exchanging permits for international road transport of goods and passengers

This Regulation defines the procedure for the exchange, issuance and use of permits for international road transport of goods and passengers.

This Regulation applies to national and foreign carriers.

According to the Regulations, Uzbek permits specify the types of international road transportation of goods and passengers, as well as the conditions of their use.

Uzbek and foreign permits are divided into the following main types:

for bilateral/transit cargo transportation;

for cargo transportation to/from third countries;

universal (bilateral, transit and cargo transportation to/from third countries);

for bilateral cargo transportation;

for transit cargo transportation;

for irregular two-way passenger traffic;

for irregular passenger traffic in transit.

International scheduled passenger transportation by road is organized by agreement between the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a foreign state.
