The regulation defines the status and types of objects of the national natural heritage of Uzbekistan, the procedure for forming their register, as well as carrying out construction work on their territories.
The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change is the authorized body in this field.
According to the Regulations, the objects of the national natural heritage of Uzbekistan are divided into the following types:
biological;
geological;
hydrological;
Paleontological.
The initiator submits proposals for consideration of the issue of including a natural object in the Register of Objects of the National Natural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the territorial subdivision of the authorized body.
The offer is accompanied by:
information about a natural object;
his geolocation;
photo and video materials.
The offer is considered within 15 working days.
The territorial division examines the compliance of the natural object with the established requirements on site and draws up an act based on the results.
The authorized body reviews the documents sent by the territorial unit within 5 working days and, on the basis of the order of the authorized body, includes the natural object in the List of objects of the national natural heritage of Uzbekistan.
