According to the Decree, from February 1, 2026, a professional foster family service will be introduced for children who have been removed from their families due to violence, are at risk of committing violence against them, and are in a socially dangerous situation.
Applicants for the creation of a professional foster family are trained on the basis of social rehabilitation programs aimed at reducing the negative impact of mental trauma suffered by a child as a result of violence, preventing and eliminating the consequences of behavioral abnormalities.
Children who have been removed from their families as a result of violence and are in need of social protection are placed in professional foster homes on the basis of an agreement concluded between the Inson social service centers and these families.
For the cost of caring for each child placed in a professional foster family, funds are paid monthly in the amount of twice the minimum wage.
For the living expenses of each child placed in a professional foster family, funds are allocated in the amount of the living expenses of family-type orphanages, established by legislative acts.
