The event is being held as part of the implementation of the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, put forward at the Central Asia-Germany summit in September 2024 in Astana.
The organizers were the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Regional Office for Central Asia and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Representative Office in Uzbekistan.
The forum will bring together over 50 participants, including heads of leading think tanks, reputable experts, representatives of scientific and educational circles and the business community of Germany and Central Asian states.
The purpose of the meeting is to launch a permanent expert platform designed to provide high-quality analytical support for the Central Asia + Germany format.
The key areas of discussion relate to deepening political dialogue and the development of economic cooperation and industrial partnership, accelerating digital transformation, as well as investments in human capital through the development of academic exchanges and organized labor migration.
