The first Uzbek-Japanese trading house opened in Japan

    During the visit of the delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan to the city of Nagoya, the opening ceremony of the Uzbek-Japanese trading House was held.

    It was attended by the leadership of the Nagoya City Hall, deputies of the council of Aichi Prefecture, representatives of leading business circles and compatriots living in this prefecture, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

    Masatoshi Higuchi, Head of the Department of Economy, Industry and Transport of the Nagoya City Hall, said that the opening of the Uzbek-Japanese Trading House on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the signing of the cooperation agreement between Nagoya and Tashkent is a sign of the rapid development of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

    It was noted that thanks to the new trading house in Japan, interest in Uzbek products will increase, which will affect the volume of its exports to Japan.

    Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinhuja Abdurakhmanov provided information on trade relations between the two countries, which have been rapidly developing and expanding in recent years.

    The guests were familiarized with the large-scale work carried out in Uzbekistan to support local exporting enterprises, promote exports, and diversify the export market.

    Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Nagoya Hiroyuki Ito said that recently Japanese companies have been increasingly interested in importing food, textiles, handicrafts and ceramics from Uzbekistan.

    It was emphasized that the Uzbek-Japanese Trading House will play an important role in promoting Uzbek products in Japan, facilitate the conclusion of new export contracts, and develop new logistics routes.

    Currently, the trading house carries out wholesale and retail sales of food products - dried fruits and vegetables, juices, jams, spices, as well as handicrafts, pottery, household goods, textile products.

    With the support of the Embassy of our country, work is underway to increase the range of products, establish the export of melons and grapes.

    Together with the khokimiyats of the regions of Uzbekistan, the issues of product presentation in the showroom of the Uzbek-Japanese trading house are being worked out.
