According to information, the accident occurred around 9:50 a.m. about 80 kilometers south of Seoul at the construction site of the Seoul-Sejong expressway.
It is noted that five 50-meter steel beams collapsed from the supports, the workers were under the structures at that time. Rescuers found eight people among the wreckage, three of them died, the remaining five were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The authorities have mobilized relevant services to continue the search at the scene of the incident.
