In particular, with the support of the Embassy of our country in London, a meeting was organized with the Deputy Minister of Business and Trade of Great Britain, Gareth Thomas, the Dunyo news agency reports.
During the negotiations, it was noted that Uzbekistan is considered by Great Britain as one of the key partners in Central Asia. The British side expressed interest in further deepening and expanding comprehensive relations with Tashkent.
The parties discussed current trends in international trade. It was confirmed that the UK fully supports Uzbekistan's accession on TUESDAY.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to expand the British side's technical support for Uzbekistan's WTO accession process within the framework of the World Bank's economic growth and development program.
The parties also agreed to strengthen the institutional capacity, knowledge and skills of specialists in the field of international trade within the framework of this program.
