During the visit, a number of meetings were held with representatives of Hungarian government agencies and business circles, as well as compatriots living in this country, the Doone news agency reports.
In particular, during the visit, the delegation held talks with State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Agnes Kertesz, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zoltan Bolcyk, Director General of the National Police Department for Foreigners (Head of the Migration Service) Sandor Gembos, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Economy Silvia Baloch, as well as representatives of Hungarian recruitment companies.
In addition, a round table was organized with compatriots living in Hungary.
The Hungarian side confirmed its interest in working out the signing of agreements on bilateral cooperation in the field of migration and economic mobility.
The parties also agreed to jointly explore the prospects for simplifying visa procedures for migrant workers.
The visit was an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary, opening up new prospects for cooperation in the field of migration, labor mobility and economic partnership.
