Vladimir Norov met in Moscow with the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

    On July 12, 2022, in Moscow, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov held a meeting with the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.

    The trend of significant intensification of Uzbek-Russian inter-parliamentary ties and exchanges in recent years was noted with satisfaction, which contributes to strengthening the relations of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.

    The importance of the active participation of the legislative bodies of the two countries in the implementation of agreements at the highest level and wider use of the opportunities of parliamentary diplomacy was emphasized.

    It was reported that the parties are ready to further deepen cooperation within the framework of international inter-parliamentary organizations.
