WSJ: Trump is ahead of Harris in terms of voter support in the United States

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took the lead in the presidential race less than two weeks before the election, ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris by a narrow margin - 47% against 45%.

According to the Report, this is evidenced by data from a new survey by The Wall Street Journal.

This is a change of position compared to the August poll, when Harris was leading by the same margin. However, both results are within the margin of error.

The study showed an increase in negative reviews of Harris, whose support dropped by 8 points to 42%. Meanwhile, Trump's job performance as president has improved, and his approval rating is 52%, giving him a 4-point advantage over Harris.

Against the background of the election campaign, Trump increased the focus on immigration policy, which attracted the attention of voters: 23% named immigration as a key issue. Trump is ahead of Harris by 12 points on the economy and 15 points on immigration.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5th. The Republican Party will be represented by Donald Trump. It was assumed that the Democratic Party would be represented by the current president Joe Biden. However, on July 21, he announced that he would not seek re-election as head of state and supported the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris.
