South Korea launches Nuri space rocket on November 27

The fourth launch of the South Korean Nuri space rocket will take place on November 27.

According to the Report, this was reported by the Korean Aerospace Administration (KASA).

"After assessing the launch preparation situation, including the satellite preparation schedule, conditions at the Naro space center, external factors, including weather conditions and the possibility of a collision with space objects, the planned launch date is set for November 27," KASA said.

"It is planned that the exact launch time will be determined by the launch preparation committee the day before the launch - on November 26," the management informed.

At the moment, the launch is scheduled to take place from 00:54 to 01:14 local time (from 19:54 to 20:14 Baku time on November 26) from the territory of the Naro Space Center in the Republic of Korea. In case of postponement of the launch, a window has been allocated for a backup date in the period from November 28 to December 4.

The space administration indicated that the rocket will launch 1 main and 12 small satellites into orbit. The equipment will be delivered to the space center by the end of October.

"This will be the first launch since the creation of KASA," said its director Yoon Yong Bin. He recalled that the third launch of the Nuri rocket took place in May 2023.
