The Law of 6.05.1994 No. 1062-XII "On Inventions, Utility Models and Industrial Designs" was supplemented with the section "Grounds and procedure for imposing a fine, as well as the procedure for paying a fine by legal entities for violating the legislation on industrial property objects".

In particular, the grounds for liability for violation of the legislation on industrial property objects are determined:

unauthorized manufacture, application, import, offer for sale, sale, other introduction into civil circulation or storage for this purpose of a product or product containing a corresponding patented object of industrial property, as well as the use of a method protected by a patent for an invention, or the introduction into civil circulation or storage for this purpose of a product manufactured directly by a method protected by a patent for an invention - entails the imposition of a fine on legal entities from 100 to 200 BRV. The amount of fines is determined for each type of offense separately.

The Law of 30.08.2001 No. 267-II "On Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin of Goods" contains an article establishing the grounds and procedure for imposing a fine, as well as the procedure for its payment by legal entities for violating the legislation on trademarks and appellations of origin of goods.

Thus, the illegal use of a trademark, an appellation of origin or confusingly similar designations for homogeneous goods entails the imposition of a fine from 100 to 200 BRV. The amount of fines is determined for each type of offense separately.

In case of voluntary payment of 70% of the fine amount within a month, the offender is exempt from paying the remaining amount.

The Law of 18.09.2006 No. ZRU-51 "On Brand Names" has been supplemented with an article according to which the illegal use of a brand name entails the imposition of a fine on legal entities from 100 to 200 BRV.

The Law of 27.12.1996 No. 349–I "On Advocacy" has been amended related to the automation of a number of services and the provision of technical support. Thus, the registration of law offices, law firms and bar associations will now be carried out by public service centers.
