Over the past two years, more than 72 thousand stateless persons have been granted citizenship of Uzbekistan

A press conference was held at the IMC with the participation of the head and officials of the Main Department of Migration and Citizenship Registration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Information was provided on public services provided to the population by Migration and Citizenship Registration Services based on international standards.

From 2019 to the present, a total of 6 million 183 thousand 355 citizens have been issued biometric passports to travel abroad.

To date, the procedure has been defined according to which citizens of 57 foreign states are allowed to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of an electronic visa, citizens of 76 foreign states are allowed to stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days, and from January 1, 2020, citizens of the People's Republic of China, in particular the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to enter the Republic Uzbekistan without a visa for a period of no more than 7 days.
