Protection of personal, political, economic, social, cultural, environmental rights of young people is a priority issue

    A meeting dedicated to the full communication of the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" to the general public in the city of Tashkent was held in the Khokimiyat of the capital.

    The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth, Culture and Sports D. Tashmukhamedov and deputies of the Legislative Chamber, the Tashkent City Kengash of People's Deputies, representatives of the city and district khokimiyats, state and public figures.

    During the meeting, the senators provided the participants with detailed information about the content and significance for the general public of the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

    In particular, the importance of including a separate chapter on youth issues in the Constitution was emphasized, taking into account that more than 18 million of our residents are young people and by 2040 this figure will reach 25 million.

    During the discussions, it was noted that the state protects the personal, political, economic, social, cultural, environmental rights of young people, encourages their active participation in the life of society and the state, creates conditions for the spiritual, intellectual, creative, physical and moral formation and development of young people, the realization of their rights to education, health, housing, employment, employment and recreation.
