It was noted that last year, hundreds of Uzbeks attempted to perform Hajj through illegal ways but were unable to fully complete their worship. There were documented cases of deportation, imprisonment, and even fatalities.
The Board emphasized that organizing Hajj pilgrimages in the country falls under the jurisdiction of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and the Committee on Religious Affairs. These organizations provide services to pilgrims based on official agreements with Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, according to Saudi Arabian legislation, Hajj can only be performed through authorized organizations. Attempting the pilgrimage through illegal means is a violation of the law and can lead to deportation and heavy fines.
The Board called on citizens not to be deceived by fake organizations and recommended choosing only official channels to ensure the safety of their pilgrimage.
