    On June 28-29, the ballet "Lazgi" - a dance of soul and love will be presented in the Turkish city of Bursa. The dance that won the hearts of not only Uzbek, but also foreign viewers will be performed on the stage of the Merino Ataturk Congress and Culture Center.

    This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva.

    "I hope that the ballet "Lazgi - the Dance of Soul and Love" will help introduce the Turkish audience to our traditions and further strengthen our intercultural ties," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote in her Telegram channel.

    She also noted that Turkey and Uzbekistan, and especially Khorezm, are united by cultural, historical and linguistic roots: "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to show the Uzbek national dance masterpiece in Turkey."

    The ancient dance "Lazgi", which has a thousand-year history, and is passed down from generation to generation through the creation of new versions of its performance. Born on the Khorezm land, he reflects the creative nature of man. With the help of graceful movements, sounds and events of the surrounding world, love and happiness are transmitted. In addition, the Khorezm dance "Lazgi" is one of the forms of self-expression of the people. And its integration with ballet performance generates original art.

    It should be noted that the "Khorezm dance - Lazgi" is included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of mankind as an element of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
