According to The Daily Star, the bus carrying passengers fell into the river while waiting to board a pontoon ferry.
The newspaper reported that there were approximately 40 people on board the vehicle. Eleven passengers managed to reach the shore on their own.
Rescuers pulled the bus out of the river six hours after the accident. The bodies of 18 victims were recovered, and several others are still missing, reported by report.az.
