The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan visited the Czech Republic to develop cooperation in the field of labor migration and business

    To explore new areas of labor migration and improve the quality of vocational training, the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullayev visited the Czech Republic.

    The delegation also included representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Migration Agency and private entrepreneurs.

    A business forum with the participation of Czech entrepreneurs was held in Prague, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main in cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. During the speeches, the importance of this forum for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries was emphasized. Uzbekistan's readiness to become a reliable platform for Czech business was particularly noted, and attention was also focused on cooperation in the field of labor migration.

    Negotiations were held with the Czech recruiting companies "Synergie" and "AMBOSELI", as a result of which an agreement was reached on the training and employment of Uzbek personnel in the Czech Republic, including bus drivers, heavy trucks, locomotive drivers, specialists in the field of IT technologies and logistics.

    At a meeting with the regional coordinator of the International Center for Migration Policy Development for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Radim Zak, issues of cooperation in the field of migration, including improving conditions for migrant workers and their adaptation to foreign labor markets, were discussed.

    A meeting was organized with the leadership of the European Institute of Applied Sciences and Management (EIASM), during which a proposal was received to open professional training courses in the field of IT, finance, management and international business in Uzbekistan.

    As part of the dialogue with compatriots, a meeting was held with the head of the Uzbek diaspora in Prague, Dinara Zakhrudinova. Issues of support for the Uzbek community in the Czech Republic, the development of cultural and social initiatives, as well as assistance in the employment of Uzbek citizens in the Czech Republic were discussed.

    The visit strengthened business ties between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, promoted the interests of Uzbek migrant workers and expanded cooperation in the field of business and migration, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
