Uzbekistan and China have signed an agreement on visa-free travel for a period of 30 days

    Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During the talks, the foreign ministers signed an agreement allowing citizens of both countries to travel without a visa for up to 30 days.

    In accordance with the agreement between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, on December 1, 2024, in Chengdu, the foreign ministers of the two countries signed an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual exemption from visa requirements.

    This international agreement regulates the issues of mutual visa-free travel of citizens of Uzbekistan and China to the territory of the two states.

    Under the terms of the Agreement, citizens are exempt from the visa requirement for entry, exit or transit through the territories of the two states for up to 30 days.

    The specified international agreement comes into force after the parties complete the necessary domestic procedures, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
