Samarkand delegation takes part in WTCF Summit

    These days, the summit of the World Federation of Tourist Cities - WTCF is taking place in Changsha, China. Representatives of 159 tourist cities from 83 countries of the world take part in it. The Republic of Uzbekistan is represented at the WTCF summit by a delegation headed by Rustam Khabilov, Head of the Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Samarkand region.

    At the summit, guests from all over the world were presented with the tourism potential of Samarkand, the conditions created for tourists and plans for the future.

    Within the framework of the summit in China, a briefing was organized for representatives of the Chinese media with the participation of Deputy Khokim of the Samarkand region - Head of the regional Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Rustam Kabilov.

    For information: The World Federation of Tourist Cities (WTCF) was founded in 2012 by famous tourist cities and organizations of the world and is the first International tourism Organization in the world created on the basis of cities. Samarkand took part in the WTTC summit for the first time as a guest in 2018, after which it was accepted as a member of this organization.
