In the format of a videoconference, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the participants of the XI meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS member states.

During the meeting, topical issues of international security in the world and in the CIS were discussed. The issues of practical cooperation of countries in bilateral and multilateral formats in the field of security were considered. Special attention is paid to ensuring socio-political stability in the face of growing hybrid threats, prospects for cooperation between states in the field of joint use and protection of water resources, and problems of biological safety.

The meeting showed the open and trusting nature of the joint work of high representatives in charge of security issues in the CIS countries in order to maintain peace, security and stability in the CIS space.

During the day, the Secretaries of the Security Councils also held bilateral meetings, during which issues of mutual interest were discussed.
