The delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of the khokims of districts and cities, is studying the experience of Germany

    The delegation of Uzbekistan, consisting of the mayors of a number of districts and cities, is on a business trip to the federal state of Bavaria in Germany.

    The program was organized by the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Hans Seidel Foundation and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Dunyo news agency reports.

    The goal is to get acquainted with the German civil service, including the local government system, attract investment, support small businesses, and exchange experience in the field of communications and construction.

    On the first day of the trip, the delegation members met with Oliver Joerg, Secretary General of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Christopher Gobel, Mayor of the Munich District, and Jutta Albrecht, Executive Officer of the Central Asia Department of the Department of International Relations, Industry and Innovation of the Upper Bavaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    The trip, aimed at sharing skills and experience, will last until July 7.
