Economic ties between Uzbekistan and Germany are strengthening

    As part of the Uzbek-German business forum, Arton and Wehrhahn Gmbh signed a contract for the supply of German production lines for two new autoclave aerated concrete plants in Uzbekistan.

    A meeting of representatives of Arton and Wehrhahn GmbH was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin on May 2 this year, at which a contract was signed for the supply of German production lines for two new autoclave aerated concrete plants in the cities of Urgench and Andijan, the delivery of the production line of which will be carried out in 2023, and the launch is planned by the end of 2024.

    Representatives of the companies also signed a memorandum of intent for the construction of two new plants in the cities of Navoi and Termez, with the delivery of a production line and the launch of plants in 2024-2025.

    The production capacity of the plant in the city of Andijan will be 600,000 m3 per year, as well as 300,000 m3 in the city of Urgench, with a total cost of 46 million euros. New aerated concrete production plants in the cities of Termez and Navoi will also be equipped with German production lines.

    A factory for the production of aerated concrete with a productive capacity of 300,000 m3/year will be built in the city of Termez, and a factory for the production of aerated concrete with a productive capacity of 600,000 m3/year and a plant for the production of fiber cement panels with a productive capacity of 2,250,000 m2/year will be built in the city of Navoi. The total value of the memorandum of intent is 75 million euros.

    The signing of the memorandum was attended by the chief executives of the companies: President of Wehrhahn Gmbh, Mr. Dr. Klaus Boneman, CEO of the Arton Group of companies, Mr. Z.Z. Aripov. This contract is an important step to strengthen economic ties between Uzbekistan and Germany, and also contributes to the development of Uzbekistan's manufacturing industry, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports.
