According to the Decree, the following were set as the main goals of this Decree, including:
Broad attraction of investments to the IT sector and the formation of an internationally competitive and attractive ecosystem;
Stimulating the activity of advanced local companies in digital solutions and innovations, and training qualified personnel.
The International Digital Technology Center "Enterprise Uzbekistan" (the Center) has been established.
According to the Decree, the following types of activities are permitted on the territory of the Center, including:
Development of software products, and provision of consulting and outstaffing services in the field of digital technologies;
Provision of remote services on an outsourcing basis using digital technologies, including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO);
Creation of video games (GameDev), development of digital content for them, including graphic design, video, and audio content creation and editing;
Creation and development of artificial intelligence technologies.
The Center is recognized as a separate territory with a special legal regime based on the common law norms and principles of England and Wales or the standards of leading international financial centers.
