According to him, the new air defense system developed by Thales and MBDA will be able to intercept hypersonic missiles. He expressed the hope that this system "will become one of the most exported products among French weapons," reports tass.ru.
France will conduct the first test of a new generation air defense system
The French Armed Forces on Tuesday will conduct the first test of the new Aster missile for the SAMP-T/NG (Next Generation - "New Generation") air defense system. This was announced by French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecorgne.
