The Prosecutor General's Offices of Uzbekistan and Russia strengthen cooperation in the field of crime prevention and control

    At the invitation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation headed by Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov paid a working visit to Uzbekistan.

    At the beginning of the visit, the delegation visited the Yangi Uzbekistan Park, where the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation I. Krasnov laid a wreath at the Independence Monument.

    Further, the delegation of the Russian Federation went to the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where they got acquainted with its activities and the reforms carried out in the system of training and retraining of personnel.

    During the visit, on November 20 of this year, a meeting was held between the heads of the supervisory authorities of the two states.

    Welcoming his colleague, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev noted that the partnership between the Prosecutor General's Offices of Uzbekistan and Russia is multi-vector and dynamic.

    At the meeting, representatives of the Russian delegation were informed about the large-scale transformations being carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev in all spheres of society and the state, in particular about reforms in the judicial and legal sphere, as well as the improvement of the activities of the prosecutor's office.

    During the friendly and constructive dialogue, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation and identified priority areas for further development of interagency cooperation.

    In particular, an agreement was reached to further strengthen bilateral cooperation on the exchange of experience in the field of prevention and prevention of offenses and crime, namely cybercrimes and other types of organized crime, the introduction of information and communication technologies into the activities of the prosecutor's office, as well as on training, retraining and advanced training of prosecutor's staff.

    The guests also visited the museum of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and got acquainted with the long-term history of the department, its experience and activities.
