During the talks, the parties discussed the results of Uzbek-Russian relations over the past year and cooperation plans for 2026.

It was noted that cooperation is developing positively in a number of areas, including the trade and economic sphere: last year, the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 11 percent.

The parties also stressed that the agenda of bilateral cooperation for the current year remains intense and provides for a number of bilateral and multilateral events, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
