Uzbek citizens will be able to take the Russian language exam in their homeland in order to work in Russia

    Labor migrants from Uzbekistan will be able to take the Russian language exam in their homeland to obtain residence and work permits (patents) in Russia.

    This was announced by the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan following a meeting of a delegation consisting of representatives of the agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic with Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maria Bagreeva and employees of the Sakharova Multifunctional Migration Center in Lyubertsy, Moscow region.

    The meeting discussed issues of simplifying the procedure for obtaining a residence and work permit (patent) for Uzbek citizens, as well as improving the activities of the center's branch in Tashkent.

    "Together with the Russian side, a mechanism has been developed for organizing the Russian language exam required to obtain a patent in the branch of the Sakharov International Medical Center in our country," the agency added.
