Citizens of Uzbekistan in 2021 have issued the largest number of patents for work in Russia

    More than half of all work patents issued in Russia last year are for citizens of Uzbekistan. This follows from the indicators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the migration situation.

    Thus, according to the agency, in January-December 2021, 2,221,826 work patents were issued, of which 1,316,569 were issued by citizens of Uzbekistan, almost 787,000 by citizens of Tajikistan and almost 65,000 by citizens of Azerbaijan. In addition, patents were issued by citizens of Ukraine (37 thousand) and Moldova (17 thousand), reports TASS.

    It is noted that in 2021, the number of issued patents for work for migrants has almost doubled. In addition, the number of work permits issued to foreign citizens has also increased.
