According to the agreements reached with the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main between SBH and the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, the program participants will be employed in the German transport industry as drivers of heavy trucks and buses in various federal states of Germany, Dunyo news agency reports.
Before being sent to Germany, the program participants completed preparatory German language courses, familiarized themselves with labor laws, traffic regulations and safety standards, and confirmed professional licenses that meet the requirements of German employers.
The arrival of the group took place at the international airport of Dusseldorf, where the labor migrants were warmly welcomed by Uzbek diplomats, as well as representatives of SBH.
During the meeting, the diplomats provided explanations to their compatriots on issues of employment and accommodation, and also wished the compatriots a successful start of professional activity in Germany.
Such events are held on an ongoing basis and are aimed at providing legal and social support to Uzbek citizens arriving to work in Germany.
The SBH project is one of the successful examples of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of organized labor migration.
It promotes the exchange of experience, professional development of Uzbek specialists and strengthening business ties between enterprises of the two countries.
In the near future, it is planned to expand employment programs in Germany in other areas in demand, including industry, agriculture and the service sector.
In recent years, Germany has become one of the leading labor migration destinations for Uzbek citizens. The growing number of Uzbek workers in German cities is associated with a shortage of personnel in a number of sectors of the German economy and the active development of intergovernmental agreements on labor cooperation.
According to the German Federal Employment Agency, the country needs hundreds of thousands of foreign specialists and workers every year. First of all, in the field of logistics, care for the elderly, construction, agriculture and the service sector.
Uzbekistan, where young people are actively seeking stable and legal employment abroad, has become one of Germany's new partners in this field.
For Uzbekistan, cooperation with Germany in the field of labor migration is not only an employment opportunity for citizens, but also a way to improve the skills of personnel, transfer European standards of professional training and occupational safety.
