The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance of Belgium, representatives of the European Commission, the Flemish Investment and Trade Agency FIT, the Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment AWEX, the Brussels Agency for Entrepreneurship and a number of Belgian companies.
The participants were provided with information about the favorable investment climate created in Uzbekistan and the measures taken by the Government to further improve it and liberalize the economy. Prospects for cooperation in the pharmaceutical, chemical, textile, agriculture and energy sectors, as well as in the framework of the Global Gateway initiative for work in the fields of transport, digitalization, critical raw materials and education, were noted.
Belgian companies were invited to take an active part in the joint projects being developed.
